This 100% cotton Beeswax Reusable Baguette is made by myself on a Singer Sewing Machine from 100% cotton fabric in a blue floral print, and has been coated with 100% organic filtered beeswax and a little raw organic coconut and jojoba oils for their antibacterial qualities. It is ideal for holding baguettes or a variety of other bread items such as rolls, hot cross buns, cinnamon rolls, Eccles cakes, croissants and other breakfast pastries. This bag is finished 100% cotton rope-style drawstring for easy opening and to help keep your bakes fresher for longer, and can be stored on a hanging hook in your kitchen or from a door.
Reusable beeswax bags are chemical-free, cosmetic grade and non-toxic,and are safe to use for almost anyone, even babies!
These brightly coloured bags are environmentally friendly, antibacterial, biodegradable and reusable many times. They contain no plastic or foil, thus creating no waste, and are really versatile without costing the earth! The only materials I have used are cotton fabric, pure organic filtered beeswax and a litte raw organic coconut and jojoba oils.
Food stays fresher for longer as these bags are breathable and will let out the gases produced by your food, whilst at the same time due to their antibacterial properties, preventing food from rotting.
After use simply rinse or sponge in warm soapy water, dry flat and you're good to go! The bread bags can be used many times before they need replacing. Used correctly they should last approx. 12 months before they need re-coating.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:-
Store baguettes and other bread or pastry items such as rolls, Eccles cakes, croissants and Danish pastries. Food stays fresher for longer as the drawstring cotton bag is breathable and will let out the gases produced by your food, whilst at the same time due to its antibacterial properties, prevent food from rotting.
After use simply rinse or sponge in warm soapy water, dry flat and you're good to go! The baguette bag can be used many times before it needs replacing.
Do not wash in hot water or in the dishwasher and do not microwave as the wax would melt.
Should the product become brittle, simply place between layers of greaseproof paper, plus a layer of greaseproof paper inside the bag, and smooth over with a warm iron, opening it out periodically to prevent any sticking, and dry flat. The food bag will be as good as new again!
Do not use bread bags for raw meat or fish as you cannot wash them in hot water, and do not use for pineapple as they contain enzymes that will make the wax come off.
Used correctly, a beeswax reusable baguette bag should last approx. 12 months before it needs re-coating.
